My piece Autumn has been selected to be part of @n My piece Autumn has been selected to be part of @nany_gallery Square exhibition which launches this Sunday 🎉🎉🎉 entry is free and starts at 5. 28 artists feature in the exhibition ❤️ Here’s a bit more about the piece from my artists statement 🙂 This piece celebrates both structure and fluidity, where the rigid lines of a grid meet the unpredictability of watercolor. Using a warm autumnal palette of six colors—potter’s pink, goethite, transparent red oxide, brown madder, undersea green, and desert green—I’ve created a visual rhythm that reflects nature’s transitions. The gold-edged grid provides a sense of containment, yet within each square, the water flows freely, forming organic shapes and textures. What I love most about this work is the uniqueness that emerges from the granulation and blending of pigments. No two sections are alike, despite the simple structure. Every mix of color tells a different story, capturing the fleeting moments when water and pigment dance together.
