“The Secrets of the Sea (2)” Original Artwork

"The Secrets of the Sea" collection is a 3-part multi-medium series inspired by Elephant Rocks along the southern coast of Western Australia on Minang Country. The collection uses a combination of different materials and techniques to create a dynamic and layered composition provides a tactile and organic quality, with the different elements blending together to create a sense of depth and movement. The collection is an interpretation of this majestic environment. While there aren't real elephants here, the huge granite boulders resemble a herd of elephants lumbering out to sea. Inspired by a road trip across the Southwest of Western Australia in the summer of 2012.
