Hey there, I´m Siobhan and I love recreating nature
I grew up on the Western Australian coast and now reside amidst the bushland of Warrandyte on Wurundjeri Country, Victoria, Australia. My watercolour paintings are born from my curiosity and wonder of the natural world.
As an environmental engineer, I am fascinated by the inner workings of natural systems and the interconnectedness of our world.
My creative process starts with a deep connection to places I’ve encountered during my travels across Australia and beyond. Each painting takes on a life of its own as I delve into the dynamic movement and ever-changing landscapes, often reflected through the textures created with watercolours. By layering and glazing my paints, you will often find my favorite stroke of color—Opera Pink. I incorporate mixed media to infuse a sense of inquisitiveness into the details.
Through my artwork, I strive to unpack and present the natural world in a way that ignites imagination and nurtures curiosity.
